      Hi Gerry,

Thanks for reaching out. For support questions please use our support email ([email protected]) rather than commenting on a post. We do not monitor our posts’ comments for support issues like we do with the support email line.

If you do not have key entry on your vehicle, you will not be able to install a key fob to your vehicle yourself. Your vehicle may not be a North American version that our instructions are customized for. For further questions or diagnosis, please contact a local Auto Locksmith for support. They will be able to take a look at your vehicle in person.

      Take care and good luck,

My drivers door module is done. Does not see the door open. How do I reprogram the FOB? It worked fine until I was pushing up against it with other stuff in my pocket and presumably killed the battery.

Can you explain what the ‘Master Key’ is?
As you mention in step #1 of the programming instructions.
    Thanks.
I only have one remote key for my Jetta and I’d like to have another one as backup.

  5. Don Branson says:

I tried this process, and the FOB still didn’t work. Here’s what did work: I unlocked the trunk with the Master Key.
