Awesome description. What do I do if I only have one master key, it’s the only one we got with the car. Any info regarding this would be most excellent if you have a suggestion.

If you still need the info, if you’ve only got the one fob, then get a second replacement fob, get the key cut on that, and then you can use both keys and the programmed Master fob to program the new fob. Don’t think it much matters if the fob the second key is attached to is programmed yet or not; you just need the Master and a second key (plus of course the fob you’re programming).

      Good luck!

Thank you so much!! Saved me like $160+ at the dealer!! Bought a replacement fob and a second circuit board from AliExpress for like $15 (had two fobs but only one worked; the other wouldn’t take reprogramming!!) and was able to program both the new fob AND the new board in my broken fob by doing this!! Very much appreciated!!

    Two tips:

First, you need to hold the unlock button down for about 5 second or so; the alarm will chirp once it’s done.

And second, if you’ve got two fobs (the ones with the built-in, flip-out key in them) and it’s not working, try the other key in the ignition, because it seems to matter which one you use and there doesn’t seem to be any way to tell which is the Master key. But also, if you only have the one fob, while you need a second KEY to lock the door from the outside (or through the open driver’s window heh), you don’t need a second, already-programmed FOB, so you could always just get the key cut on the new fob first, and THEN program it. ;)

Thanks again!! You guys are the best!!
