I bought two of the replacement remotes but have never been able to program them. My truck is a 1999 Silverado. I’m not sure how to get this done but I tried he method of inserting the key and holding down the unlock button but I’m not sure of how to get to the point where instructed to stop. Could someone give me some advice please?

I purchase two new remotes for my 99 Silverado. I followed the instructions on your page but, my DLP does not have a wire on the number four link. I found another set of directions online and it said to hold the unlock button down cycle the ignition switch two times then release the unlock button and the system should go into programming mode. Mind did all that but, the remotes would not program….
